For INTR-323: Interior Studio II, the midterm focused on a material study, where I experimented with wooden coffee stirrers and straw wrappers to construct a three-dimensional triangular model. This got me to explore how simple, everyday materials could be transformed into structural and design elements. When developing the final concept for my children’s library, I carried forward both the materials and the triangular star-like form, reimagining them at an architectural scale. The result was “Starry Stories,” a library where the triangular star motif became the central design language, creating playful geometries and dynamic spaces for children to read, gather, and explore.
