In INTR-332 Interior Studio I, this project centered on designing a residence for Jessica Day, the main character of the show New Girl. The process began with research into Jessica’s lifestyle, personality, and specific needs, translating her character traits into a thoughtful residential design. All drawings for the project were completed entirely by hand, which emphasized precision, craftsmanship, and creativity without relying on digital tools. The project also highlighted the use of orthographic drawing skills, allowing me to clearly show spatial relationships, scale, and design intent through plans, sections, and elevations. This combination of research, hand rendering, and drafting created a project that reflected both Jessica’s character and the fundamentals of interior design practice.
